Description

As the blast effect looks right now like a red-wave ....we could use that as a symbol for blast in the new INFO-AREA #46

Personally i am not sure if that selectable weapon should be displayed in the upper or the lower INFO-AREA.

Maybe we could just display the icons which weapon is available.
The user can then use it via shortcut or mouse ?

I am not sure about the HUD and info area design concept.
We should discuss about it.
Look at the screenshot and you will see what i mean.

I guess we should logical spit those 2 areas

  • upper info area
  • lower info area

And should collect groups of elements fitting together

Right now i can think about the following points - just attempt 01:

Lower info area:

  • my players name
  • current stage
  • my points
  • sound-toggle

Upper info area:

  • weapons (align left)
  • mini-weapons (align right)

Another method would be asking:

where do i need this links/buttons/informations ?

From my feeling we do need mini-weapons close to the ground - as we can only place them there

On the other hand i guess the players weapons are better placed in the upper area - as this might be the area where my mouse cursor is most likely in the fight ... trying to aim the enemy as fast as possible.

The other informations as: stage, sound, points etc are not that important - placeing-wise.
I really think it does not REALLY matter if we place the stage-counter into the upper or the lower part

Final feeling:

  • upper area for information -> so stage/points/name etc
  • lower area for action / buildung etc -> so our-player-weapons and mini-weapons

Just realizing - you are running 0.1 on windows - good to see the current version is again working in both worlds.

in 0.1.1:
looks like if the blast icon appears in the lower info-area and we try to select it .... we can type text into the anger-window (displayed near wave-icon)
